Innately Halal

Built on Science

Branded raw materials. Standardised actives. Lab tested, batch verified.

The supplement industry has a transparency problem. We try not to add to it. Below is exactly what we test for, what we publish, and what we don't yet know.

01 · Sourcing

Branded raw materials only.

Every botanical and chelated mineral is sourced as a named, standardised, audited raw material — our clinically characterised ashwagandha extract, our clinically characterised fenugreek extract, our clinically characterised saffron extract, K2 (deferred to v4.1) (), a fully-reacted bisglycinate chelate, and so on. We do not buy anonymous powder from spot markets. We do not blend "house extracts." Specificity is the whole point.

02 · Manufacture

UK GMP, BRC-grade, halal-certified facility.

Made in a UK facility that holds the top global food-safety standard (BRC-grade), GMP, NSF, and facility-level halal certifications. Every production run is documented, traceable, and a retention sample is held for two years. Specific facility, lab, and cert-body details disclosed to verified buyers and credentialed press on request.

03 · Verification

UKAS-accredited lab, every batch.

Every production batch is independently tested for ingredient identity (HPLC and spectroscopy), potency vs label claim, microbial load (TVC, yeast, mould, E. coli, Salmonella), and heavy metals (As, Cd, Hg, Pb). Certificates of Analysis are stored against the batch number and available on request.

What "standardised to X%" actually means.

When we say "Black Seed standardised to its principal active thymoquinone," we mean every kilogram of the extract is verified by HPLC to contain at least its principal active compound (thymoquinone) by weight. The same standardisation logic applies to every standardised botanical in the formulation — ginsenosides in Panax Ginseng, withanolides in Ashwagandha, Lepticrosalides in our clinically characterised saffron extract, Fenuside saponins in our clinically characterised fenugreek extract.

Standardisation is what makes a botanical reproducible from one batch to the next. Without it, you are buying a black box. The dose on the label tells you nothing about how much of the active compound is actually in the capsule. Generic supplement brands often skip standardisation entirely. Premium brands name it on the label. We name it on the bottle, on this site, and on the certificate of analysis for every batch.

What we don't yet know — and won't pretend to.

As of 2026, ten of the twelve ingredients in The Barakah Pill do not have UK-authorised health claims. This means we describe the published research without making any effect claim about what the supplement will do for you. The exceptions are zinc (an authorised claim relating to normal testosterone levels in the blood), magnesium (claims relating to muscle function and fatigue), vitamin D3 (muscle and bone), and vitamin K2 (bone).

We don't know precisely how a 60-day intervention with this formulation affects any one individual. Botanical responses are heterogeneous — what's effective for one person at this dose may be effective for another only at a different dose, or not at all. We can tell you what the published literature is studying and the doses being studied. We can't tell you the outcome.

If you have a clinical concern, speak with your GP first. The Barakah Pill is a food supplement, not a substitute for clinical care, and it is not a medicine.
