New · Companion to The Pillبَرَكَة
The Barakah Powder is the companion to The Pill — seven clinically characterised actives, designed to disappear into your morning coffee, mint tea, matcha, or chai. Same Sunnah-anchored roots. Same UK halal-certified manufacturing. Different ritual.
The proposition
Every botanical is sourced as a branded raw material — our clinically characterised ashwagandha extract, our clinically characterised fenugreek extract, K2 (deferred to v4.1), a fully-reacted bisglycinate chelate — at the exact doses used in the most-cited published research.
Black seed has been part of Muslim health practice for fifteen centuries. We let it earn its place as the hero ingredient, alongside saffron, fenugreek, and others mentioned in the apothecary tradition of the Islamic Golden Age.
Manufactured in our UK manufacturing centre in a BRC-grade, halal-certified facility. Our own-brand HFA certification is in final review. Every batch will be tested and signed off before it leaves the factory.

From the Sunnah
"In black seed there is a cure for every disease except death," recorded in the hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim. The hadith doesn't make a modern pharmacological claim — but it positions black seed (Nigella sativa) as central to the apothecary tradition that Ibn Sina, Ar-Razi, and Ibn al-Baytar would refine across the Islamic Golden Age.
Today, thymoquinone — the principal active compound — is one of the most-studied natural antioxidants in the published literature. Saffron, fenugreek, and date polyphenols appear in the same lineage. Our formulation pulls from this canon, not from supplement marketing.

Founders
For two years we tried every halal supplement we could find. Most were generic multivitamins with a halal logo retrofitted onto a tub. The few that weren't were either gym-bro performance shouting or pharmaceutical-feeling. Nothing felt considered, and nothing felt like something we'd happily leave on a kitchen counter.
So we built one. We started with the formulation — twelve ingredients, branded raw materials, doses pulled from the published research. We worked with a BRC-AA*-certified UK manufacturer. We applied for our own-brand HFA halal certification. And we wrote every word, every label, every page of this site to feel like the apothecary tradition we come from.
We are particular about the things we put in our bodies. We hope you are too.

From the Journal
Founder story
Why the first 500 Founders' units ship as 250 numbered Pill bottles and 250 numbered Powder tins, what the Damascus Red wax seal means, and the design choices behind making something we'd be happy to receive ourselves.
Heritage
Why we added pomegranate to the v4.0 formulation of The Barakah Pill on 2026-05-24. The Quranic heritage of rumman — three āyāt across Surah Al-An'am and Surah Ar-Rahman — the punicalagin-standardised extract we specify, and the halal certification chain we are working through with the Halal Food Authority.
Ingredient deep-dives
What Panax ginseng is, what the standardisation to ginsenosides actually measures, what the published research is investigating, and why we chose our clinically characterised Panax ginseng extract for the v3.0 formulation.
Founders' Edition
Waitlist members get first access to the Founders' Edition — 250 numbered Pill bottles and 250 numbered Powder tins, one of each per customer, available only at launch.

Common questions
The manufacturing facility is halal-certified today. Our own-brand HFA halal certification is currently in final review and is expected to be awarded in Winter 2026. No physical product will ship before that certificate is awarded. The Sunnah-anchored ingredients (black seed, saffron, fenugreek, dates-source citrulline) and the HPMC plant-based capsule shells are halal-compatible by composition.
The Barakah Pill is a food supplement, not a medicine. We cannot make claims about treating any condition — and we wouldn't, even if we could. What we will say is this: our formulation contains evidence-supported ingredients chosen for sustained vitality, taken once a day. Many of our customers feel the difference within four to eight weeks. If you have a clinical concern, please speak with your GP first.
Two capsules with food in the morning. One bottle is a 30-day supply. Don't exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of young children.
Most of the standardised botanicals in The Barakah Pill (ashwagandha, fenugreek, saffron, Panax ginseng, pomegranate) are studied over 8-12 week intervention windows. We recommend a minimum 60-day trial before deciding whether it's worth continuing. Some customers report subtle effects within 2-3 weeks; many describe a steadier baseline at the 6-8 week mark.
First production batches are expected to ship in late summer 2026, once the HFA own-brand certificate is awarded. Founders' Edition (250 numbered Pill bottles + 250 numbered Powder tins, one of each per customer) ships to the waitlist first. Join the waitlist on the homepage to be first in line.
