About The Barakah Pill

  • What is The Barakah Pill?

The Barakah Pill is a daily food supplement built around twelve branded, standardised ingredients — anchored by black seed (Nigella sativa) at the level used in the published research per serving — designed for adult men seeking sustained vitality and considered care. 60 HPMC capsules per bottle, two per morning, a 30-day supply. It is a food supplement, not a medicine.

  • How many ingredients are in The Barakah Pill?

Twelve. Each one sourced as a branded raw material where one exists (our clinically characterised ashwagandha extract, our clinically characterised fenugreek extract, a fully-reacted bisglycinate chelate, our standardised saffron extract, our clinically characterised Panax ginseng extract, our clinically characterised pine bark extract, our clinically characterised black seed extract, our clinically characterised pomegranate extract and others) and dosed to match the level used in the most-cited published research. No fillers, no flavourings, no anti-caking agents beyond a small amount of nutritional rice hull.

  • What's the difference between The Barakah Pill and a generic multivitamin?

A generic multivitamin focuses on filling micronutrient gaps in the diet at near-RDA doses, typically using inexpensive forms (oxide, sulphate, carbonate). The Barakah Pill is a botanical-led adult wellness formulation using chelated minerals and standardised herbal extracts at full clinical doses. The two serve different purposes and can be taken alongside each other.

  • Why did you add pomegranate to the formulation?

Pomegranate (rumman) is mentioned three times in the Holy Quran — in Surah Al-An'am (6:99 and 6:141) and Surah Ar-Rahman (55:68). It is the strongest Quranic anchor of any single botanical in our formulation, alongside black seed's place in the hadith tradition. We add it as a standardised extract (standardised to its principal active punicalagins, sourced as our clinically characterised pomegranate extract where the halal cert chain confirms, or as named alternative) at the level used in the published research per daily serving. Ratified into the v4.0 formulation on 2026-05-24. Used as a heritage ingredient — we do not make any function claim about pomegranate on this site.

  • Why did you remove maca?

Concentrated maca extracts (Lepidium meyenii, 10:1) are not authorised in the FSA GB Novel Food Authorisations register as of May 2026. We removed maca from the v4.0 formulation on 2026-05-24 on exactly the same regulatory precedent that led us to remove Tongkat Ali in v3.0: if a concentrated extract is not on the GB Novel Food register, we will not sell it into the UK, regardless of how widely it is sold elsewhere.

  • Why is Vitamin K2 not in the launch formulation?

We deferred Vitamin K2 (K2 (deferred to v4.1), menaquinone-7) to a v4.1 post-launch update. The straightforward reason is the halal cert chain — K2 (deferred to v4.1) is produced by bacterial fermentation, and we are waiting on the Halal Food Authority's ruling on our supplier's fermentation-substrate for our preferred chickpea-fermented variant. Once that ruling is in writing we will add K2 via a label update rather than rebuilding the formula. There is also a warfarin-interaction advisory that becomes mandatory at reintroduction. We would rather ship the launch formulation cleanly than wait an indefinite number of weeks for the cert decision.

Halal certification

  • Is The Barakah Pill halal certified?

The manufacturing facility is halal-certified today. Our own-brand HFA halal certification is currently in final review and is expected to be awarded in Winter 2026. No physical product will ship before that certificate is awarded. The Sunnah-anchored ingredients (black seed, saffron, fenugreek, dates-source citrulline) and the HPMC plant-based capsule shells are halal-compatible by composition.

  • Why HFA over HMC?

Both bodies are respected. We chose HFA as our primary certifier because its audit scope — covering ingredient sourcing, facility, supply chain, and label — best matches the depth we want our halal claim to carry. We're also evaluating HMC as a secondary certification once the HFA audit completes.

  • Are the capsules halal?

Yes. We use HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose) — a plant-based polymer derived from wood pulp. There is no bovine or porcine gelatin in any part of the product. The capsule shell, the encapsulation, and the packaging are all part of the HFA own-brand audit currently under review.

  • Is the pomegranate extract halal?

The HFA halal cert chain for the pomegranate extract is pending — we have specified our clinically characterised pomegranate extract as our preferred branded raw, with as the named alternative. Both are extract-level halal certifications (not just raw-fruit halal), and our specification requires ethanol residue below 50 ppm with full carrier disclosure. We will not ship physical product with pomegranate in it until that cert chain is confirmed. If the cert chain cannot be confirmed, our contingency is either a smaller dose from a different extract source or removing pomegranate from v4.0 — we will not compromise on the halal status of any ingredient to preserve a narrative.

Claims & regulation

  • Will The Barakah Pill help with low libido / ED / testosterone?

The Barakah Pill is a food supplement, not a medicine. We cannot make claims about treating any condition — and we wouldn't, even if we could. What we will say is this: our formulation contains evidence-supported ingredients chosen for sustained vitality, taken once a day. Many of our customers feel the difference within four to eight weeks. If you have a clinical concern, please speak with your GP first.

  • Is this halal viagra?

No. Viagra (sildenafil) is a prescription medicine. The Barakah Pill is a daily food supplement made from standardised botanicals and chelated minerals. They are not equivalent and we don't position them as such.

How to take it

  • How do I take it?

Two capsules with food in the morning. One bottle is a 30-day supply. Don't exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of young children.

  • When will I feel the difference?

Most of the standardised botanicals in The Barakah Pill (ashwagandha, fenugreek, saffron, Panax ginseng, pomegranate) are studied over 8-12 week intervention windows. We recommend a minimum 60-day trial before deciding whether it's worth continuing. Some customers report subtle effects within 2-3 weeks; many describe a steadier baseline at the 6-8 week mark.

  • Can I take it with my prescription medication?

Always speak with your GP or pharmacist before adding a supplement alongside any prescription medication, particularly if you take blood thinners, blood pressure medication, antidepressants, or anything affecting hormonal balance. Several botanicals in this formulation have documented interactions with specific medications.

  • Can women take The Barakah Pill?

The Barakah Pill is formulated and dosed for adult men. Several ingredients (our clinically characterised fenugreek extract, Panax ginseng) are dosed at male-research levels and the overall formulation is targeted toward men's vitality. A separate women's formulation may follow — please join the waitlist if that's of interest.

Subscription

  • How does the subscription work?

Subscribe and your bottle arrives every 30 days — sized to your supply. Subscription pricing saves you vs the one-off bottle, comes with free UK delivery on every order, and you can skip, pause, or cancel any month with one click from your account. Exact pricing is released at launch.

Ordering & delivery

  • When will The Barakah Pill ship?

First production batches are expected to ship in late summer 2026, once the HFA own-brand certificate is awarded. Founders' Edition (250 numbered Pill bottles + 250 numbered Powder tins, one of each per customer) ships to the waitlist first. Join the waitlist on the homepage to be first in line.

  • Do you ship outside the UK?

Phase one is UK-only. We are evaluating EU and Gulf shipping for phase two (likely late 2026 or early 2027), but the regulatory profile of each market is different and we will not ship until we are confident the product complies fully with the destination market's food supplement law.

Founders' Edition

The first 250 numbered bottles + 250 numbered tins ship to the waitlist first.

Waitlist members get first access to the Founders' Edition — 250 numbered Pill bottles and 250 numbered Powder tins, one of each per customer, available only at launch.
