JOURNAL / CONSIDERED READING

A clearer way to read a supplement label.

A practical starting point for understanding product information.

INNATELY HALAL EDITORIAL TEAM · 7 OCTOBER 2026

Begin with the serving

Look at how the information is presented: per capsule, per recommended serving, or per pack. Those are different quantities. The number of capsules in a pack does not by itself tell you how long the pack is intended to last.

Read the ingredient information

An ingredient name is a starting point. Its form, the amount listed, any declared allergens and the product’s warnings are part of the wider picture. If a point is unclear, ask the brand for the relevant product information.

Keep the sources close

The Food Standards Agency publishes guidance on food supplements. The Great Britain nutrition and health claims register records authorised and rejected claims for commercial communications. The links below are useful starting points; they do not certify an individual product.

Our own label

The Barakah Pill’s final label is still to be confirmed. Its planned format is 30 capsules and one capsule daily. Illustrative development concepts shown on this website do not represent the final label or confirmed formulation.
